My food style

Here I am kicking back after high tea at the Soho Hotel

In front of the Arno in Florence with Ant and Anna

At Bistrotheque in London with the gals (I'll have what Michelle's having)

One reason you haven't seen a lot of photos of me on this blog is that I am always kicking around in either workout gear or the East London uniform of black jeans, nike trainers and a striped t-shirt. Tres chic, right? However, last week I introduced the Food Style Q&A and I think it's probably only fair that I answer them too. Looking through my photos I was able to locate a few instances where I was sans-workout gear to accompany a sneaky look at my own personal tastes x

Best coffee and tea?
Small lattes and French Earl Grey tea.

What exercise do you do?
Lots of swimming now that summer has finally hit London. And I love Reformer Pilates.

Favourite place/city?
So hard! Luang Prabang in Laos is one of my all time favourites.

Style icons?
I love Gwynnie (Paltrow).

Favourite place to eat in Brisbane? In London?
I'm obsessed with breakfast places in Brisbane: SisCo, Dello Mano and Sourced Grocer are my favourites.
In London, I love Granger & Co in Notting Hill and La Bouche on Broadway Market.
The best meal I've ever had was at Chez Panisse in Berkeley near San Francisco.

Favourite flowers?
All the white ones that smell amazing: jasmine, gardenias and tuberose.

What is your guilty wardrobe secret?
I love wearing workout gear, even when I have no plan to hit the gym.

What is your guilty pantry secret?
My obsession with peanut butter.

Where would I find you hanging out in Brisbane? London?
Walking along the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and reading at Climpson & Sons.

Cat or dog. And what type?
Dogs are cuter! I'd like a golden retriever.

Must have interiors item at home?
A huge kitchen table, and flowers.

Can you cook?
Yes, but I'm better at eating.

What blogs do you follow?
I read Garance Dore, Sarah Wilson, Lifestyled and The Little Sage on a daily basis.

Which is your favourite Food Style post?
Wow, great question...They're all amazing. Kiddings. I most enjoyed the research for Paris' Hipster Hangouts and Bologna Pasta Heaven.
