The market-inspired menu changes daily at Two Wheels and a Handlebar

Hidden inside the foliage: Bunker Coffee

If someone had told me that Railway Terrace in Milton was going to be the next hotspot in Brisbane, I would have laughed them away. Except that is exactly what has happened.

It's only been opened a month, but Two Wheels and a Handlebar at 33 Railway Terrace is gaining real momentum thanks to their ever-evolving, market-driven daily menu. It's also exceptionally well priced. This week they've featured Lime Mussels with Italian Crostini for $10, Roast Pork Neck and Rocket Sandwich for $9 and Mint Glazed Lamb Ribs for $10. Yum. Check out their Facebook page for the first look at what's on the day's menu.

A few doors down at Number 25 is Mrs Luu's Vietnamese Canteen where it is standing room only at lunch time. Run by the offspring of West End pho favourite Trang. Sadly, there ain't no pho on this menu, but there is an awesome banh mi and bun menu. I tried the lemongrass beef bun plate with fresh herbs and peanuts. As they say in Hanoi, ngon qua!

Rounding out the street cred is Bunker Coffee at Number 21 where they seriously know their coffee. My current favourite on rotation is an Ethiopian roast with an aroma of blueberries. Divine. Apparently a rooftop garden is underway with plans for a hive of Railway Tce bees to come!
